Office Manager
Gina Brown, Office Manager
Growing up in Lewis County, Gina graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1984. She then attended Mohawk Valley Community College earning an Associates Degree in Banking and Insurance in 1986. She then went on to receive her Certificate in Dental Assisting from Monroe Community College in 2000.
Gina has been with Advanced Dental Care since 1993. Starting as a dental assistant, then becoming an administrative assistant and then working her way to become Office Manager. She has been Office Manager since 2006. Gina's versatility is her greatest asset. Gina manages all business related issues including accounts receivable and insurance processing. She also handles appointment confirmation and coordination, as well as treatment check-in/out. She also works closely with Dr. Pominville in coordinating extensive treatment plans.
Gina resides in Port Leyden, NY with her husband of 25 years, David. They have two daughters, Ashley, a Senior at SUNY Cortland as an Education Major and Danielle, attending MVCC for Respiratorty Therapy!
Office Administrator
Amanda Snyder, Administrative Assistant
Amanda grew up in Lowville, NY. She graduated from Lowville Academy and Central School with her Regents Diploma in 2003. She worked at Agency Specialist Insurance as an insurance specialist from 2003 to 2008.
Amanda has been with us since July 2008, she comes to us with a strong background of office work from the insurance business. Amanda is in charge of marketing and website maintenance here at Advanced Dental Care. Some other responsibilities are handling appointment confirmation and coordination, as well as treatment check-in/out. She also processes payments and submits insurance claims. Amanda also answers the phone and will greet you at the front desk.
Amanda lives in Lowville, NY with Jason and their two daughters, 8-year-old Riley and 1-year-old Addyson! In her spare time she enjoys scrap booking and spending time with her family!
Hygiene
Carrie Kraeger, RDH
Carrie grew up in Castorland, NY and graduated from Beaver River Central School in 1988. She attended Jefferson-Lewis BOCES where she graduated at the top of her class as a Cosmetologist. From 1988 to 2001 she worked as a Cosmetologist. In 2000 Carrie made a career change and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Brady in Watertown, NY until 2002. Carrie then decided to further her dental education and attended Ononadaga Community College where she became a Registered Dental Hygienist; there Carrie graduated as valedictorian in 2004. Carrie also obtained her license to administer local anesthesia from Ononadaga Community College in 2004.
Carrie started working at Advanced Dental Care as a Registered Dental Hygienist in July 2004. She enjoys participating in the soft tissue management program. Carrie is a very focused and dedicated employee. Her connection with her patients makes them anxious to return and seek her excellent care.
Carrie resides in Constableville, NY with her husband Tony and their daughter, 3-year-old Chloe and their newest addition Chase, born May 17, 2011!
Tara Rauscher-Widrick, RDH
Tara grew up in West Leyden, NY and graduated from Adirondack Central School in 2002. She immediately enrolled at Ononadaga Community College where she pursued a degree in hygiene. She became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2004. Tara also obtained her license to administer local anesthesia from Hudson Valley Community College in 2005.
Tara started out working for Dr. Sears and Caruso in Boonville, NY full time and then came to us in August 2005. Tara is extremely caring and gentle with her patients. She plays a vital role in the soft tissue management program Dr. Pominville implements here at Advanced Dental Care.
Tara lives in Port Leyden, NY with her husband Brandon and their two sons, 2-year-old Nolan and Brycen, born June 15, 2011!
Tammy Seeloff, RDH, CDA
Growing up in Lyons Falls, NY, Tammy graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1987. Starting out at Cazenovia College earning a Degree in Interior/Architectural Design in 1989, Tammy then pursued a different path to her new chosen profession, attending Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC; Tammy became a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in 2003. After attaining her CDA, she decided to expand her dental education and went to Dental Hygiene School at Hudson Valley Community College where she became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2006. Tammy also obtained her license to administer local anesthesia from Hudson Valley Community College in 2007.
Tammy came to us in 2003 as a Dental Assistant. After leaving us for a short period, she returned in October 2007 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Tammy has an extraordinary demeanor with her patients and contributes to the soft tissue management program here at Advanced Dental Care.
Tammy lives in Port Leyden, NY and is the proud mom of Morgan, Hannah and Michael. She welcomed her first grandchild, Lili Bean, born November 10, 2010!
Assistants
Stacy Riley, RDA
Growing up in Willamson, NY, Stacy graduated from Williamson Senior High in 1988. She attended Wayne Cooperative Educational Services and received her Certificate in Data Processing in 1988. Stacy graduated from Bryant and Stratton earning her A.O.S in Medical Secretary in 1990. Stacy moved to Lowville, NY in 1990 and worked at Lewis County General Hospital for Dr. Root and Dr. Williams for 13 years.
Stacy then made a career change in 2004 and started working at the North Country Children’s Clinic as a an office administrator and dental assistant. Stacy attended Monroe Community College and became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2009. She then took the DANB exam and became a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of New York.
Stacy has been assisting here at Advanced Dental Care since 2004. While overseeing inventory control, Stacy is responsible for all aspects of the intricacies of lab cases. Stacy also administers in office whitening treatments. A very dedicated employee, Stacy assists Dr. Pominville with all aspects of patient care, starting from exams to chairside assisting, to treatment planning and patient comfort.
Stacy resides in Lowville, NY with her husband Chris, Elementary Vice Principal at Lowville Academy and Central School (LACS) and their two children Bryan who has enlisted in the United States Air Force and Haley, a Junior at LACS. A foreign exchange student Sanne from Denmark has joined their family for the year.
Stacey Lawton, Dental Assistant
Stacey grew up in Carthage, NY and graduated from Carthage Central School in 1993. She attended Jefferson BOCES where she became a New York State Licensed Cosmetologist. Stacey worked for Gino Morena Enterprise as a barber on Fort Drum from 1996 to 2009.
Stacey is the newest member of our team here at Advanced Dental Care, joining us in April 2009. Stacey assists Dr. Pominville chairside. Her energy and bright smile light up the office that makes for a great working environment. She is currently enrolled at Monroe Community College working towards her Certificate in Dental Assisting.
Stacey lives in Lowville, NY with her husband, Fred, his son Travis, 17 and their son Trevor, 6. Stacey loves the outdoors and in her spare time she enjoys camping with her family.
